Biography
Arianna is from North Vancouver, BC, Canada and began her dance journey at age four. At age ten, she began intensive training with a highly competitive dance team at her local studio, Seymour Dance, in a wide range of genres: Ballet, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop, Tap, Musical Theatre, Acro and Ballroom. She completed all of the RAD Ballet graded and vocational syllabi with distinction, and was a candidate in the RAD Solo Seal Exam in Toronto, 2022, as well as in Vancouver, 2024. Arianna competed at BC provincial levels, and sought out numerous conventions, intensives and dance opportunities, including the Arts Umbrella International Summer Dance Intensive and numerous Break the Floor events; always seeking to learn from the wider international dance community. Upon graduation, Arianna completed the two year Lamondance Professional Training Company program under the direction of Davi Rodrigues and Racheal Prince. Here, she primarily focused on concert dance, and had the opportunity to work closely with choreographers such as Brandon Alley, Nicholas Ventura and Joshua Beamish. Arianna danced at the CLI Conservatory in Massachusetts USA, under the mentorship of Artistic Director Teddy Forance and graduated Spring 2023. She had the pleasure of training closely with dozens of internationally esteemed choreographers including Brian Nicholsen, JA Collective, Kenichi Kasamatsu, Larkin Poynton, Talia Favia, Andrew Winghart, Al Blackstone, and Riley Watts to just name a few. Along her journey, Arianna has been granted many awards and scholarships, particularly as a soloist & choreographer at competitions, but also, most recently, the British Columbia Arts Council of Canada's scholarship for dance in 2021/22. Arianna also loves teaching dance, and she taught at numerous local studios, and choreographed several competitive solos and groups at her home studio.
